We LOVE working with Adopt-A-Dog, a dedicated organization committed to finding loving homes for dogs in need, on their annual “Puttin On The Dog” festival, but since that only happens once year, we’re thrilled to partner with them on the “FBoG Furry Friend” adoption campaign!

As part of our joint effort, The First Bank of Greenwich features a “FBoG Furry Friend” on our website and social media pages highlighting a special dog from Adopt-A-Dog’s shelter. Through this initiative, we aim to raise awareness and support for animal adoption, helping more dogs find the loving families they deserve. Please join us in supporting this great cause and, if you can, consider opening your heart and home to a furry friend in need.

To start off 2025, we’d like to introduce you to the sweetest Chihuahua, Lola. This pint-sized princess was rescued on Thanksgiving Eve so she may take her time to warm up, but once she does, she’s all about the snuggles! Having been through a lot, she’s looking for an adopter who understands the importance of patience and gentle care, she’ll come to you when she’s ready. At heart she’s little lap dog who loves affection and is the perfect companion for someone who wants a cozy, loving friend.

Our ongoing collaboration with Adopt-A-Dog has been incredibly rewarding, bringing so much joy and wagging tails to countless families. Due to its resounding success, we’re thrilled to extend our reach to our feline friends as well and very excited to partner with Friends of Felines, Inc, an incredible organization helping the homeless and forgotten cats of Fairfield County since 2001.

We’re thrilled to share that after only a couple of weeks the adorable pair of kittens we previously had up for adoption have found their forever home! But now, it’s their sweet mother’s turn to find hers:
Meet Maggie, a stunning 1.5-year-old calico with a loving heart and a playful spirit. This sweet and confident girl is the total package with just the right amount of spirited charm to keep life exciting. She’s a true acrobat, leaping mid-air with impressive agility, turning every play session into a fun-filled show. When she’s not chasing toys, Maggie enjoys head and chest rubs, and volunteers have even managed to sneak in a few kisses when she’s feeling extra affectionate. Her curiosity and confidence shine through as she explores new spaces and greets new people with ease.
