We LOVE working with Adopt-A-Dog, a dedicated organization committed to finding loving homes for dogs in need, on their annual “Puttin On The Dog” festival, but since that only happens once year, we’re thrilled to partner with them on the “FBoG Furry Friend” adoption campaign!

As part of our joint effort, The First Bank of Greenwich features a “FBoG Furry Friend” on our website and social media pages highlighting a special dog from Adopt-A-Dog’s shelter. Through this initiative, we aim to raise awareness and support for animal adoption, helping more dogs find the loving families they deserve. Please join us in supporting this great cause and, if you can, consider opening your heart and home to a furry friend in need.

Ash, our last Furry Friend has happily found his forever home, so we’d like to introduce you to the gorgeous Remi.

Remi is a handsome 2-year-old ridgeback/lab mix who some of us here at the Bank had the pleasure of meeting at this year’s “Puttin On The Dog”. He’s the perfect blend of playful energy, gentle cuddles, pure love, and brains; mastering commands like sit, shake, and even rollover!

Meet Levi!

Featured Cat

Our ongoing collaboration with Adopt-A-Dog has been incredibly rewarding, bringing so much joy and wagging tails to countless families. Due to its resounding success, we’re thrilled to extend our reach to our feline friends as well and very excited to announce our new partnership with Friends of Felines, Inc!

Based in Stamford, CT, Friends of Felines, Inc. has been helping the homeless and forgotten cats since 2001. Solely focused on the well-being of homeless cats in Fairfield County, they provide humane trap-neuter-return (TNR) services, medical care, and food for outdoor community cats. They rescue abandoned strays, homeless kittens, and cats in dire situations, get them healthy, and then find them new homes via a responsible adoption program. They also consult with members of the community to help with cat-related issues.

Our first Featured Cat with Friends of Felines is Levi!

Levi, unfortunately, had a rough start to life but we’re determined to make him the well-fed lap cat he deserves to be! Levi relishes human interaction – from gentle pets to spirited playtime, he adores it all and, despite his traumatic beginning, this 2-year-old sweetheart has admirably emerged as one remarkably resilient, fun-loving, affectionate, and healthy boy who is ready to love and be loved!
