A community bank as loyal as your best friend.
We understand the love, loyalty and companionship our furry, feathered or scaly friends provide is beyond measure. At our core we cherish the extraordinary connections we share with our pets.
Pets at the First Bank of Greenwich
It’s a testament to the beauty of this relationship and we’re here to celebrate and support it with you every step of the way which is why our offering list includes a Pet Savings Account. As every pet parent knows, having a “fur baby” can sometimes be as expensive as having a real baby. With that in mind we created an account designed to help you save for all your pet-related expenses; everything from food, accessories, routine vet visits and unexpected emergencies. Enjoy a competitive interest rate and the peace of mind that comes with knowing you have a dedicated fund for your furry friends.
Honoring the unique bond between humans and their beloved pets, we’re dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of animals as well as the communities they inhabit. By establishing strong partnerships with local animal care and rescue organizations, we actively seek to provide a better quality of life for animals and contribute to the well-being of animals in the local area. We also encourage our employees and customers to get involved in animal-related activities. Whether through donations or participating in charity walks, volunteering at animal shelters or adoption events; we believe in fostering a sense of community and shared responsibility for animal welfare and are proud to showcase our affiliations with various animal groups and organizations that share our passion for animal welfare. Our commitment to animal welfare extends beyond business, it’s personal, and we look forward to sharing our passion with you. Stay connected with us on social media to learn about upcoming events, fundraisers, and opportunities to get involved.
Meet Hodor!
Featured Dog
We LOVE working with Adopt-A-Dog, a dedicated organization committed to finding loving homes for dogs in need, on their annual “Puttin On The Dog” festival, but since that only happens once year, we’re thrilled to partner with them on the “FBoG Furry Friend” adoption campaign!
As part of our joint effort, The First Bank of Greenwich features a “FBoG Furry Friend” on our website and social media pages highlighting a special dog from Adopt-A-Dog’s shelter. Through this initiative, we aim to raise awareness and support for animal adoption, helping more dogs find the loving families they deserve. Please join us in supporting this great cause and, if you can, consider opening your heart and home to a furry friend in need.
We’re very happy to report our last featured dog, Lola the Chihuahua, was adopted! To take her place our friends at Adopt-A-Dog have given us Hodor, the sweetest three-month-old Shepherd Mix. He’s fully crate trained, smart, affectionate and athletic- an amazing puppy, who will become an amazing dog. He loves to eat, play with his sister, and very much wants to have a home of his own to continue to grow and thrive in!
Visit Wagtopia.com to view additional pictures of Hodor and his sister and get details on how you can give him the forever home he deserves!
And make sure to come back often to see other featured dogs as we try to find their forever family!

Meet Tom Thumb!
Featured Cat
Our ongoing collaboration with Adopt-A-Dog has been incredibly rewarding, bringing so much joy and wagging tails to countless families. Due to its resounding success, we’re thrilled to extend our reach to our feline friends as well and very excited to partner with Friends of Felines, Inc, an incredible organization helping the homeless and forgotten cats of Fairfield County since 2001.
We’d like to introduce you to Tom Thumb – a strikingly handsome and spirited, polydactyl estimated to be about 1.5 years old who was abandoned by his original family. Tom’s a parkour expert who enthusiastically bounces, dives, and rolls as he happily frolics about but enjoys playing with people, as well as other cats, just as much.
Given his active nature, Tom Thumb isn’t a fan of life in a cage, and he’d like a forever home as soon as possible. If you’re looking for a lively, affectionate companion and you can offer him the understanding and patience he needs, Tom Thumb could be the perfect addition to your home. Are you ready to give him the second chance he deserves?
Visit Friends of Felines to find out how you can make this monkeying maverick yours and stay tuned as we work with Friends of Felines to find more kitties their purrfect partner!
